Vice Sub-District Head of Johar Baru, Munjir Munajki acknowledged the Bylaw No.8/2007 on Public Order stated that pedicabs have been prohibited to operate in Jakarta.
“Such ban been applied since a long time ago. That’s why we need to control pedicab operation in Jakarta especially in Johar Baru,” he said, Thursday (10/29).
6 Pedicabs Netted During A Raid in Cempaka PutihAccording to him, since sub-district party is lacking personnel resulting many pedicabs were escaped controlling.
“We’ve strolled around. As recorded there are 21 pedicabs. Unluckily they can escape and remaining 4 pedicabs,” he uttered.
Nevertheless, Munajki continue to drive them away. “Due to unoptimal result, we’re going to back raid them. While for the pedicab directly brought to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung to be vanished,” he disclosed.
